I ordered a Tameron lens for my Nikon camera. The best price I could find was $499.00.

I looked to the PX (AAFES) for a better price and found it on sale for $80.00. What a great price. We were going to Italy in a couple weeks and this was a great price on a telephoto lens. I waited for the shipping info but it never came.

I finally logged on to my account at AAFES and found the order had been cancelled. I called AAFES and was told the vendor cancelled the order but someone would call me and tell me why. I got the call and said it was an error on their part and they would NOT honor the price. So their error was my error now.

Too late to get another lens from another source at a reasonable price. I have even ordered a lens hood for the lens that I will not be getting. Another $12.50 I am out. This is not right.

If I make a mistake I pay for my mistakes. Evidently that is not the case with this organization. Their mistakes are your mistakes. My Military Star account has been closed and I will no longer do business with an organization whose word is not their bond.

Not the way the military is taught. I am sure they really don't care if I do business with them since they would not honor their pricing.

Reason of review: Would not honor advertised price.

Preferred solution: Sell me the item at the advertised price.

Aafes Exchange Cons: Customer service.

I ordered one two they also had the 15-600 for $50, the main reason i am mad is that I could have price challenged somewhere else but chose to stay with aafes. This is the second time they have done this to me.

I know of zero stores that will honor errors. You are a good example of greed, and get no sympathy.

I guess you don't know many stores. Some states have laws that state if a price is advertised it must be sold for that price.

I did not ask for your sympathy and I am not any more greedy than the next person. Why should their mistake be mine.

No states have laws that says if the store makes an error on the price that they have to sell it for the error price. That's ridiculous and you know it.

Do you really believe that if a web site leaves a zero or two out of a car price and mistakenly lists a $20,000.00 car for $200.00 or $2,000.00 that you could buy it for that?

All I know it that when I was in a Zayre store many years ago I picked up a watch that was marked extremely low (don't remember the price now) but was told it was miss marked but due to Ohio laws they were required to sell it at that price. You are right, I am no attorney but unless you want to call me a liar then you will just have to take it at face value.

I cannot imagine Zayre (out business forever) making that up and giving me the watch at the low advertised price. So now I will hear from all the Ohio legal eagles. I stand by my original statement that the error was theirs and not just one but 3 items with a sale maker on the ads. I lost out and lost money due to their error.

Their error? I think not.

It became my error/misfortune. When I make a mistake I pay for it, big business should do the same.
