Aafes Exchange - Rip Off
I ordered a 65 inch television back in January, which was delivered damaged. I had to go through the inconvenience of sending the TV back and reordering all over again.
When the second one arrived, I put the box in the corner of my living room, as I was preparing to move.
I didnโt know you only had 30 days to return the television if it was damaged, and I didnโt move until a few months later. The box was never opened and on moving day, I opened the box before I even allowed the movers to touch it, just to see if the television was damaged and to my horror, it was also damaged!!
I called customer service just to be told I was way out of the time limit for returning the television. I understand that part, but to tell me there is absolutely nothing they could do to help me with this situation is horrible. Now I am out of 550.00 and have to pay for something that I canโt even use.
That is a total rip-off and the television should have never been delivered damaged TWICE in the first place.
I am beyond disappointed at AAFES for not even offering to try and help in some type of way. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of their Veteran customers.
