I went to the shopette on MCchord airforce base in Tacoma, WA were I work and was told that I could not buy alcohol. He said it was due to a new rule that I did not know about that there were to be no sales before 0800am. I can understand that part. the second part he then proceeded to tell me that I did not have the proper ID card to buy it anyways and that there was a new veterans ID and that I had the old one still. If AAFES is going to keep changing the policies every few months then I can shop somewere else like winco that values me as a customer. I am so sick of being treated like I don't matter when I am a 90 percent disabled veteran that put in 11 years in service.

You wrote a review for Camp Mabry Aafes/PX6 hours ago 3.0 star rating6/4/2020 I purchased something here at 6/4/20 11:21 a.m. Hadn't been here in years so I wanted to look around. Picked up a DVD player, looked some more, then walked to the register. I told the cashier that I needed some bread, could I get that first before I paid for the DVD? She said yes, it was all the same store. Searched for bread, couldn't find any and headed back towards the registers. Saw the same cashier standing near the door and wanted to ask her where the bread was. That's when I overheard another cashier, and obese white woman, talking loudly. "Watch that guy, I think he's trying to steal something!" I move towards the first cashier. Obese woman: "There he goes! He's headed out the door. No, he's just asking her a question. Watch him!" I ask the first cashier where the bread is and she says they don't carry any, so I head towards the registers. Obese cashier: "Now he's coming back." I shouldn't have to say why this pissed me off. After serving my country for 22 years I can't go into a PX without listening to some obese employee insulting me.

Horrible service and No one can tell me where my order is located

I bought a table from the exchange and Montgomery Airfreight called me on two different days to set up delivery. I was available and was home both days and the company did not call or deliver my product. No one could tell me why. I called SEKO logistics and they didnt know where my purchase was located. I called the exchange customer service number and all they could do is open a research ticket. Both Montgomery Airfreight (Lisa) and Delores from SEKO could offer not help or resolve on my issue and customer service just told me to sit at home and weight they have 21 days to deliver. I understand the 21 day policy but what I dont understand is why anyone thinks its acceptable to make customers wait for their delivery from 11-3 on two different days with not as much as a call to say they were not coming. I will not shop from the exchange online again and I dont think I will get my order and will have to struggle to get my money back. Never felt so ripped off before by any other company.

AAFES is terrible!

I grew up in military family. Years ago AFEX was a great place to shop. Now called AAFES. Customer care is nonexistent. Stores are full of stuff that is not desired, and over priced. Complaining to store manager and the GM falls on deaf ears. I did 30 years active duty. Now retired. Have family members now on active duty. Across the board all say AAFES is terrible and terrible not getting worse. Top management needs to be replaced. Better yet, fired. Needs a total remake. Dead beat employees wouldnt even be hired by Walmart

It is obvious that the AAFES system is in business to make money OFF the regular active duty and retired folks. This is wrong on every level. We have been in this military for over 50 years and I'm sick and tired of watching AAFES taking advantage of our young troops by offering them credit and allow these troops and elderly retired folks charge and then if they're late with a payment, they'll submit to the troops Command a letter of Indebtment. For a retirement person, they'd sue them in civilian court or have their retirement checks deducted. This is a disgraceful ploy to make a buck for AAFES.

Aafes Exchange - Do not order online!
I ordered a Samsung QLED 65" TV on January 9th 2020 and AAFES informed me that it was out for delivery on the 14th of January 2020. It is now the 17th of January and AAFES doesn't know where the TV is. AAFES informed me that Innovel is tasked with delivering the TV. I contacted Innovel and they are unable to ship the TV as I am outside of their shipping area. I am now told that the TV is now with XPO logistics and that it may take over 720 hours to complete the delivery. But XPO logistics does not have the TV. I live an 1 hour and a half from where the TV was originally. I requested to pick up the TV myself and was denied.

on 2 June 2019,we purchased a washer and dryer on line on AAFES web site,I understood that the shipment would take from 14-21 days, we were ready for that- what frighten me is the tracking it cannot be traced to anything..Finally,after calling around I got phone numbers one of the numbers is a nonworking number so I lost time fiddling around doing that good thing I'm retired. What flips me out is once a tracking number is given I should be able to track where my property is at any point,I understood that is the reason for having them so customers can keep track on their merchandise when its purchased. My Tracking number is 1l201906****01053.guess its out there someplace this cost me over $1300.00 and washing and drying for almost three weeks,

AAFES online a Vets nightmare

AAFES on line: overall neothlithic incompetence in essentially every area. Customer service should be labeled the Wr font giving a Flying F section. Logistics is hit and miss with a total lack of coordination between AAFES and their Fullfillets. Pricing is outrageous. It’s not a good deal in fact many items are priced more than the suggested retail. How does that happen and are the purposely ripping off the very people who have their lives for them. Management is inept and unresponsive. Constantly playing the blame game leaving customers in limbo. IG complaints are referred back to the very people screwing up with the same attitude and *** lies. It’s acshame and truly a travesty particularly for those of us who always believed AAFES would take care of us and certainly not purposely take advantage. Their Thanks for your service is meaningless and like pudding up avrope. Such behavior they should just close down on line if they can’t do what they promise. On Jan 19 2019, I placed an order online for an item that was on sale, mind you that this item although on sale was not cheap, it was $1,203.00. 4 days, almost 5 days later I receive an email from AFFES stating that my order has been canceled. I call the online customer service and I asked why my order has been canceled and they tell me that the company made a mistake and priced the item incorrectly so I asked why it took almost 5 days later to notified me that this order has been canceled. Without explaining to me why it took almost 5 days to notify me, they had the nerve to revert straight to their terms and conditions and told me that it states on there that they can cancel items if they choose to. Keep in mind that on the day I ordered this item the funds were already subtracted from my total bank account balance, so for the next 4 almost 5 days I was out $1,203.00. It was very inconvenient, I was being more conservative on my spending within those 4 days. I ask to speak to a manager and I explain to her what happened and she also reverts to the terms and conditions, what a bunch of NAZI’s, such unprofessional tactics. I told them to compensate me for all the trouble and inconvenience and they offer me a 5% off my next order lol, what a bunch of cheap *** a multi billion dollar company that leeches off soldiers serving in the military, 5%? Really?!? I have been a loyal customer with AFFES and a MILSTAR card holder for over a decade and this is the treatment I get for mistakes that the company made. I told the manager that I don’t even want their 5% and then she said “okay byyye” and hung up. Manager for customer service? Wow!! Unbelievable. I will never shop with AFFES again. I will not support a company that treats customers and soldiers this way. Seems they are so one sided, it’s their way or the highway. 5%??? I still can’t get over that. LMAO!! Needless to say I will be closing my account with these NAZI’s. They over price their items anyways even without the taxes it’s still a rip off. Also their website is so Ghetto, a multi billion dollar company can’t even manage to set up a proper website. Just lost a over a decade loyal customer.

i purchase a dryer, they change the delivery address so i have to delay delivery, 10 min before delivery tbe driver call saying they will not going to make the instalation. I been promised they will be a instalation and a they will take away the older dryer. I agree to pay the 75$ intalation fee. at the moment of the delivery they left the older dryer and the workers say they do not pick up the older dryer. I call costumer servicer, Sandra try to make any justification why they will not pick up. after been in the phone for 1h, they did not take any responsibility for the promises of their workers, they did not try to fix it or to offer any type of credits for their mistake. I will pay the pick up fee and never going back to this company for anything. Is really sad that this company serve the most high standards costumers.

Another Ripoff!

Recently purchased an item from “Shopmyexchange” on line shopping for Vets and active duty. After ordering, my fault, I researched this item online and found AAFES had priced it $30 dollars more than suggested retain and nearly $50 dollars more than Walmart and several other retailers.

Absolutely mind boggling for these people to literally screw the very people who make their jobs possible and earned the right to a little break on pricing. This was a huge mistake that took 2 hours to resolve with their Custoner service. However, in almost every category except when something goes on sale one can find it cheaper somewhere else.

Additionally, when something does go on sell thevreally great deals are out of stock within minutes of their posting. AAFES a “Ripoff for Army, AirForce personnel.
