Aafes Exchange - Checking on online order that’s not delivered
I ordered a fridge online and was told that it was shipped on 5 November 21 after charging my credit card. I waited patiently for my fridge and checking online with tracking number provided but always told that it's in transit.
I called a few time the shipping company (Fragile Pak) to inquire about my delivery, but every time I was put on hold for hours until someone comes on telling me that they have no status for me. Finally, I called aafes online customer service, and they were very helpful but stated that it usually takes 21-28 days for delivery. It was nowhere on my order stating that? If I had known this, I won't have ordered my fridge.
Now, I'm told if I cancel, I would be charged $250. That's missing information and representation. I'm stuck with a small fridge bought from lows for my daily needs and won't have a nice thanksgiving dinner with leftovers that I can't keep in a fridge.
I'm very disappointed and angry. Not sure what else to do BUT wait for my paid for fridge and God knows when Ill get it.
User's recommendation: Before ordering online, make sure you have a definite delivery date!
Preferred solution: I would like my fridge to be delivered soonest and should get some price reduction as compensation for my anxiety refunded to me!.
